We use REDBACK C2063 600mm circular bell horn speakers on our 100 Volt set-ups. These horns have the advantage of very high gain (up to 120dB/watt) meaning that one horn will throw sound a long way, and they have switchable power ratings from 10 watts/horn to 50 watts per horn. This makes it very easy to customise a dasy chain of horns (up to 44) for any particular purpose.

The WHARFEDALE EVPX-12 is a compact 12″ x 1″ eliptical horn cabinet that is very suitable for smaller corporate set-ups, small pa assemblies and smaller outdoor uses where high fidelity is needed. A nice feature on the EVPX series of speakers is an inbuilt 4dB trebble boost, and there is on board electronic speaker protection. Power rating (per box) 150 watts RMS 500 watts peak music power.

This is a more sophisticated pa package that requires mains power or a generator to operate. This package can be used outdoors or indoors. The things we have considered in this package are; (a) there is more than adequate power for a large (150 plus) number of guests, (b) multiple speakers can be installed, even discreetly hidden, (c) there is adequate microphone capability for string quartets or other performing ensembles, readers, and of course the celebrant/clergy and bride and groom (d) the more sophisticated mixer/amplifier allows you video photographer to take a “line out” audio signal off the system.
