This is a superb stereo pa system utilising genuine three way actively tuned ELECTROVOICE speakers powered by MACKIE professional quality power amplifiers. The target market for this beautiful system is large and/or prestigious functions where quality is the object. The system can be used for parties, as the power house for DJ’s, corporate or civic functions in large auditoriums, just about any application where super sound is needed.

The speaker system consists of a pair of 18″ sub-woofers, a pair of 10″ mid range speakers and a pair of high freqency horn drivers. The speaker cabinets are the supelative ELECTROVOICE EH DH range. To augment the quality of this system we supply a top quality input from a dual cart professional standard CD player (you can patch in your own sound source of course, iPod,computer,etc) and a first rate mixer and sophistcated EQ (tone) control system so the whole system can be precisely tuned to the environment. The sound reproduction is just “georgeous” when this system is tuned. And that sound quality can be maintained from whisper quiet, to the loudest volume you would ever need for a party/function system.

The “Black Tie” system is not a practical “dry hire” system. it is too big and too complex to set up without a very experienced person at the controls. We strongly recommend that this a product that should be delivered, installed, tuned, dismantled and removed by us. See our location service fee map for pricing.

The base unit hires at $550.00/Day (this is the minimum hire period).

The base unit can be “built on” with extra speakers, “split line” delivery to several locations and many other variations. Price for variations is POA.

The Party Hi-Fi Stereo and PA Package 1

This is the package we often hire for parties, wedding receptions and other social occasions catering for up to 200 people in an indoor venue. Wonderful hi-fi stereo from CD’s, iPod, computers and mp3 players etc. The base package consists of:-

One MACKIE 404M mixer/amplifier,
Two MACKIE C300 speakers,
Two cable microphones and all stands and cabling.

Price of package: $180.00 /Day (dry hire)

Delivery/Set-Up/Knock Down/ charges vary with location.

With the party packages we offer a variety of options. You can have:-

A wireless microphone
A DJ style mixer
Dual or single CD player
AV package add on (data projector and screen)

The Party Hi-Fi Stereo and PA Package 2

This is a package with more “punch” in the sound from a pair of sub-woofers added to the speaker system, plus one very good quality SURE SLX Beta radio microphone for extra mobility. The power output of this package is 370 x 370 watts stereo. The base package consists of:-

One MACKIE 808S stereo mixer/amplifier
Two MACKIE C300 speakers
Two MACKIE C300 speakers and twoWHARFEDALE EVPS18 Sub-Woofers
One cable microphone and one radio microphone and all stands and cabling.

Price: $220 /Day (dry hire) Sub-Woofers are an optional extra at $66.00 a pair.
